Same thing kinda happened to me...
Old flame from high school who I wasted 10 years of my life chasing (thought was my soul mate... actually she probably was but she was distracted... had a bad case of Bad Boy syndrome).
She moved away, got married, I attended the wedding, guy is super cool... yay, all is good in the world!
10 years later she moves back to my town, has put on a lot of weight, starts hanging with my crowd. Hooks up with one of my friends who is... wait for it... a bad boy (big fan of the Peruvian marching powder).
They burn through her inheritance, their relationship is a roller coaster (surprise, surprise) so they break up.
She starts eyeballing me...
