Personally, I think it's much more arrogant to think nothing of hocking counterfeit garbage on the BBS (and not even in the 'for sale" sections no less). Again, it makes no difference that you were "full honest" about it being a replica.
If you need, I can provide specific instances of US federal prosecutions/convictions (including prison sentences) for selling counterfeit goods that were "fully disclosed" as such.
