Convertible top repair
My 997 convertible top has intermittent issues retracting and closing during days of frequent use. It will stop mid open or mid close and very slowly complete opening or close.
The dealer is suggesting I replace the latch ($1,670) and its not clear from my questioning of the service rep if the latch also contains the motor for the top.
I'm waiting for clarification but wanted to get another point of view before making any decision. Thank you.
