Criminy Sakes...
They computer God are officially offended.
Memory died in one of my servers. I just brought up a backup server.
Replaced the bad memories, now web services won't start on it. Everything corretct, just won't start.
Old 27in Cinema display doing weird stuff. Works fine until a reboot. Then nada. Takes a reboot with all external displays disconnected, then plug em back in an everything ok again. Probably the video cards on the laptop fighting of which gets to run which display since one uses dvi and the other thunderbolt. May have to just get an ultrawide and sell the 2 27in displays. Or find another cheap thunderbolt. The 27in Thunderbolt I got was only $600.
One of the two fans in the laptop started making noise. Took it to my Mac repair guy and the laptop also needs a new battery (it is swelling). Replaced the battery a little over a year ago for the same reason. It is going to take a couple of days for them to get the parts. Good thing is I always buy Apple Care (extended warranty) when I buy a laptop, so no cost fix.
