Life is too short to drink bad wine - but with kids, mortgage, and 17 year old p-car I can't afford the $20+ wines anymore either. There are tons of import and domestic bargains out there, ask for help from the store in choosing, I do.

Some of the ladies in my neighborhood seem to value price over taste.
I tend to stick with the local labels: Chateau St. Michelle or Columbia Crest.
