you know I drove a '17 SR5 when I was shopping and found the same drone! strangely my '17 limited didn't do it. a buddies '15 SR5 also has no drone with stock exhaust. I really can't explain it as the parts are the same. The Pro exhaust does not drone but if you look you'll find some who say it does. not sure if it is a variance in tuning or exhaust parts or what. if you're so inclined you can probably find a stock exhaust for free. Mine is just sitting in the rafters of my garage in case I trade to a newer model but at this point I'm pretty sure that ain't happening.

have you tried the tow/haul button yet? IIRC Toyota changed the regular throttle mapping on the new design (starting in '14 or '15) to be much less aggressive. pushing 'tow/haul' is like a boost button.

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.
