I missed this thread originally, but in the interim bought a 2002 Tundra. I've had it for about 1.25 years. It's got 140k miles on it. Interior is like new - paint is a 9/10. Had a new timing belt and brakes done at 125k miles (right before I bought it). The suspension was shot, so I put the ride-height adjustable Bilsteins on it (and spent a whopping $17 on new front sway bar links as both of mine were broken). I had to put a battery in it and new tires.
No CEL codes and no frame rust. I've got $8750 in it (including the tires).
