I just replaced my throttle cable on my 74 w/Weber 44IDFs... I bought the Terry Cable from our illustrious host. Very easy, I must say, to install - I was lucky because I had no carpet in at the time.

One thing I was concerned about was that my cable was about 10 or so inches longer than I needed... so i had to cut it..

I need to find something to bind the threads of the cable before they start to unravel.. any ideas?

I suppose I could use a burnz-o-matic on the frayed ends to 'solder' them together?
