We were up near yet another volcano (Mt. Baker) for an overnight trip. The joy of free camping still exists in a few places in the North Cascades.
This spot has an amazing view even with the smoke from wild fires up in BC and here in Washington intruding.
This site you can boat/canoe/Kayak or walk to- first come, first serve. We lucked out and got the premier camp site since the family that camped there Thursday night were just packing up and leaving.
