What year is your 996 turbo? Do you have a manual? Post a pic of your system. Did you check your fuses? The temp and fan controls are not connected to the radio/CD/nav in my 2004 turbo.
Updated (2015) NAV CDs are available. I bought mine from Annapolis Porsche.
