9mm is dirt cheap yo shoot. And matches my pistols, so one common ammo platform.
What sold me, being left handed, is this rifle is ambidextrous. Both sides have safety's, bolt lock back, and front grab bolt slide.
Other than my Sig instant on Red dot, on a bipod, this is a stock gun outta da box with rails and all.
Fairly affordable package for fun plinking too.

Everything you say about the Taurus is pretty much true about the Ruger, cheap ammo, ambidextrous, the Ruger also comes with an adapter for Glock mags. I also really liked the sights on the Ruger right off the shelf.
