Hello all Porsche fans,

My 69 912 doors are too rusty to be practically repaired. I have acquired a pair of 1986 911 doors without the power window mechanism.
I do have the manual mechanism of my 69 doors.
1. Can the manual window mechanism, frame, glass and locks of the 69 be used?
I noticed that 1986 doors holes appear to match but the 1986 lock has a round button.
The more I search makes me a little confused about this swap.
Please guide me on this, all answers are appreciated.
