For the most part I like your posts, but this one was just asinine. Some businesses require an attorney to navigate a variety of issues that can arise. I have been self employed since 1996, and I have an attorney on "speed dial". It doesn't make me a predator.
In fact, I recently used my attorney in a car deal I recently did wherein the owner declared the car stolen about a year after I purchased it. Long story. Without an attorney I would have been toast; he expertly navigated the issues and got it resolved without going to court or anything. Cost me $500
Perhaps if Nathan had an attorney to begin with this would never have happened.
