I've never liked the trays. They are always too small or at the wrong height or something.

The desks (integrated into short cubicles) at work have huge trays similar to what's below, but probably much higher end and more bulky.



Unfortunately, what that also means is that I lose 6" of vertical knee space under the desk. I've been in 3 different desks at my current job, and each time, the first thing I do is whip out a screwdriver and remove the tray from under the desk. It only took one day and one bruised knee to figure that out.
