I bought a new RD six months ago -- I got fed up with the Blind Spot Monitoring falses and the constant barking around the grocery stores with my old one.

I bought the Uniden R3 -- which has some really awesome features including GPS lockouts, adjustable low-speed muting, BSM filtering, and lots and lots of other menu customizable features. And it's super quiet when setup right -- except when there's a real threat and then the range is incredible. And Uniden is working with the enthusiast community to periodically update the firmware and make it even better. The only thing I miss is the arrows from my V1, but the R3 is otherwise generally superior in performance an options.

IMO, it's pretty much THE detector to have right -- at least at its price-point ($399 is pretty much standard).

Anyway, it's on sale today at Frys.com for $329 with promo code 3928918. That's the lowest price I've ever seen.
