In this litigious society today, I would think long and hard before I swatted a kid, if I were the Principal. Far too many parents would make a huge ordeal out of it, and have victim rights advocates on the case in no time. The "Me Too" movement makes a victim out of anyone ever slighted for any reason.
No doubt some of these repeat offenders need a good ass kickin, but I don't think the school system should be the ones doing it.
