My Giulia Ti Q4 has the sport seats and the 19"s 5 hole Alfa wheels... it's a very nice car, love the looks, it drives great and rides well. The performance is on par with every other 4 door sport sedan. The lack of a manual trans is a real killer... it would transform the car. I like it, but it just isn't a fun car, I feel a manual and a bit of exhaust would change that.
If you have the money and just 'want" and Alfa it's cool car that turns heads and is pleasant to drive. I would recommend a lease, def not a BUY, it's an Alfa after all. If you want a car that is fun and you actually enjoy driving this isn't it. Its still just an appliance like most 'sporty' sedans today.
After picking up my 911SC, I'm of the opinion that old cars are garbage in just about every way. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy them, but for the love of god don't even think about comparing them to modern cars. A DD IMO should be reliable, which old cars seldom are.....
I live in fear driving my 911 for a $20K sound to rear it's ugly head.
I think the best bang for the buck is still that stupid lil Abarth... such a dumb little car. lol Anything to old and you start to run into operating costs that remove any fun factor the car has.
A 2002ish BMW 330i would be great, but thats pretty old, and the Abarth might be more fun to drive.
If I was in the 500K a year club this wouldn't be an issue... ahh the life of being poor.
