Talk to your agent, if you have a good insurance company they will help fight on your behalf. I seriously doubt they will repair the car, anything that cheap typically gets totaled if there is any major damage. They will probably offer book value at best, so start putting together information on book values and comps in your local area. Also expect the other insurance company to drag their feet since their insured is at fault, step one will probably be waiting on a police report that officially assigns fault.
