Been meaning to log in since I noticed this thread and suggest the Golf R. I have a '16 and can confirm that it's a super fun car. Enough so that I don't mind parking my 911 for the winter anymore because I get get to drive the R now.

I'd say it's also very practical. Can fit 4 real sized adults in relative comfort and is plenty zippy. If you need more than 300ish HP for driving around on the street, you're doing it wrong and/or should have your license revoked... JMHO.
