Jeez $50K on the S14? You've got me curious... what was done to it? I continue to piss away money playing with it, but I don't think I'm at 50k there yet. It's pretty much a KA25DET now. I went through three motors before finally building the bottom end and going to an AEM Series II. People said the headgaskets were the weakest points on the car... well boosting 25PSI on a pretty stock motor for almost a year, my factory headgasket had no issues. Piston #4 eventually had an issue though, the ringlands blew on it. I still drove around for a good year with 3 cylinders boosting, and these LS FD guys said my car felt just as quick as theirs. Pretty funny stuff

Now that I look back, I had the option to RB26 it... I think that would have saved me a bunch more money if I did that back then.
