Hey friends-

Posting to see who else might be driving similar routes in case there are fun caravan opportunities. My Father is joining me this time flying out from Boise on the 26'th and we're leaving on Thursday and arriving in Monterey Friday - taking my 1987 Grand Prix white Carrera.

Tentative itinerary:

Thursday 9/27
~9:00am - depart South Orange County
~11:30am - stop at Getty Villa for 60-90 minutes
1:30pm - Lunch @ Trancas Country Market
2pm - leave for Solvang (we're staying the night here)

Friday 9/28
~9:00am - depart Solvang via Hwy 101
Take Hwy 41 towards Morro Bay, then onto Hwy 1.
Likely stop to stretch legs at Sand Dollar beach in Big Sur and a lunch stop at Nepenthe before arriving Monterey ~3:30-4pm.

Anyone else going to be en-route via similar roads on Thursday/Friday? Played with a lot of other PCars last time around at Rennsport including a stunning white 72 with a built motor who I lost on PCH near Lime Kiln in big sur but paced along w/ a buddy from San Simeon.

Any other folks driving solo maybe we can link or at least exchange info in the case of the unspeakable (breakdown).
