Yeah, I probably bought my first serious road race bike in 73. Bought a brand new P13 Paramount in 1975. Very difficult to follow what was going on in Europe in those days!! Me (blue jersey) racing across the border in Canada in 1977 or so.
Edit: I wish I still had that Seiko Speed Timer I was wearing!
