Man, it is great to have fall officially arrive and get fall temperatures. Moma nature is on the ball this year. It is 69 degrees and nice and cool in the garage without AC needed. One of the parts made of 100% plastic is a cosmetic piece for the front edge of the center console down by your feet. It just covers up the screws used to mount the console to the floorboards, and some of the wires from the AC controls. After 33 years, the plastic is very brittle. The holes where the screws go through it to the console will break out and snap off the corners.
I have been playing with a plastic JB weld product that works pretty well. It takes a while to set up, but I am in no major rush. No one but me will know it is repaired like it is, but hopefully it will last a while.
