so my birthday is this thursday and i've been bumming pretty hard about it.
my wife told me that she had a little road trip cooked up for Sat/Sun and i was advised to make no plans that would interfere. so i did as i was told and tried not to guess where the surprise road trip was headed.
turns out, my wife had organized a bit of a surprise party for me and most of my very closest friends. #deceived #collusion
my friends Joe and Mack arrived late friday night and saturday morning, Joe and i got stuck right into the 911. (Joe owns a small performance shop in Stroudsburg, PA and has worked for a few well-known race shop in addition to several race teams...all BMW or Porsche)
what follows is a rundown of my weekend by day.
Saturday 9/22
Joe and i are pulling the engine out of the car and the dog loses her composure upstairs. turns out Ted showed up to help supervise.
we get the engine on the stand and wouldn't you know it, Pawel showed up. #dontlook
and he brought goodies from my favorite pizza place and Rennline!!
filthy tin removed and engine cleaned a trifle more.
