The only problem with trestles in the late 70's was the locals always were trying to put up gates and fences, making it as difficult as possible, and making us walk the long way and climb down the rocks. We did it a couple times and their efforts worked, after that we'd just go a little farther down to San a-gopher (Onofre).
One time we were in Laguna and getting hungry, one of the guys with us pointed down the street and said DUDE, Buke's durgers!
(Duke's burgers).
We walked in and one of the guys asked, "Dude, how bigs the medium coke?"
The middle-eastern looking guy behind the counter said WHO KNOWS?
We could never let that go.
Buke's Durgers, medium coke, who knows. 40 years later it's still funny (to us).
It's gonna end up on someone's tombstone.
