A friend of mine incorporated an outdoor shower into his home remodel. He works outside/tree stump removal, so it is a practical way to keep grime out of the house. He says he loves it.
True story- in remodeling/ additions, design quirks can get worked into even the best of plans, sometimes oversights, sometimes necessary compromises. In his case, the outdoor shower area is adjacent to the kitchen window over the sink, so if you show up and are hanging out with people in the kitchen, and help put dishes in the sink, and he gets home from work, he will wave to you with a big grin as he showers off all his dirt in all his odonic glory.
He just grins and laughs "Do the right thing, beer me..."
"Put on some damn clothes" I answer, turning to his wife in the kitchen.. "God Laurie, you just cant UNSEE the sh#$!- do something about him!"
I stay away from that area of the kitchen now.
