I did all the artwork for the first 4 years of the Memorial Marathon. Proposed an ad campaign the background photo had runners running in front the Memorial. It started with only a couple then the ads added runners the closer it got to the Marathon. The ads were killed because they thought it was bad taste even though a lot of pictures of the marathon showed runners running in front of the marathon?
