Sorry to be pedantic, but the way I recall, the
IS was only available in coupe form and equipped with the M42 (no valve adjustments necessary), though the 318i (sedan) did get the M42 in 91 only.
Nice to see 4ngie's old rig is doing well. I drove that car when it was for sale in my neck of the woods (before Rammstein's purchase) as a possible replacement for my IS.
