Dear Friends / ITB gurus
I'm installing a Jenvey ITB with a fueltech FT500 on a 3.6 engine, and a have a few questions regarding this installation
1-) Where could I install the Air Temperature Sensor, since I'm not using an air box and my filter is too small ( tea strainer type) to install this sensor?
2-) I made some 6mm threads to install a vacuum port on each cylinder, where each vacuum port will connect to a vacuum manifold, so my questions are:
2.1-) My manifold have 6 6mm inlets and 2 12mm outlets, is one 12mm outlet enough to drive the brake boost?
2.2-) Is the one way valve on the brake boost enough or do I have to install a second one way valve and perhaps a vacuum accumulator of some sort?
2.3-) on this other 12mm outlet, can I attach a idle speed valve? or it will disturb the vacuum and consequently ( the MAP, the brake boost, etc) when it open to allow air to pass by to hold the idle?
2.4-) The car will not have an A/C system, so is the idle valve control necessaries?
3-) Regarding the fuel regulator, my initial idea is to install the original FR that came with this 3,6 engine
Will that work? This Porsche FR is a little bit different, it have 2 inlets (one for each bank of cylinders and one outlet to the fuel tank)
If this fuel regulator does not work what are the other options? I saw a lot of fuel regulators that have a manometer on it, my preference is not to install something like that since i'm trying to go with a clean look and not a race look for this engine bay
Thank you all
