Here's one that I came up with...
Sightly less unhealthy LIT:
In a 12oz glass:
-Fill half with ice
-Three tablespoons of Splenda
-2oz of Rum (or liquor(s) of your choice)
-2oz of Triple Sec
-2oz of Lemon juice
-Fill remainder of glass with Coke Zero
|
Hmmm, with just rum, it's not really a LIT, at least, not in Houston. Around here, LIT has Vodka, Gin and Rum (all of the clear liquors). I could see it being good if you like LIT (never been my thing).

Weird, I could see that being tasty, but I can't see myself buying a bottle of cucumber vodka to find out.
Hmm, the missus likes a "French 75"
I make them for her with this recipe
https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/french-75-242668
Ingredients
1 lemon
3 tablespoons (1 1/2 ounces) gin
1 1/2 tablespoons (3/4 ounce) fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce) simple syrup
1 cup ice cubes
1/4 cup (2 ounces) dry sparkling wine, such as brut Champagne, chilled
Preparation
Using zester or paring knife, slice peel from lemon in long, thin spiral. Reserve lemon for another use and set peel aside.
In cocktail shaker, combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain into chilled Champagne flute and top with sparkling wine.
Curl lemon peel around finger to create twist at least 6 inches long. Garnish drink with twist and serve immediately.
She also likes a "Kir Imperial" or "Kir Royale."
Kir Imperial
3/4 oz Chambord in a champagne flute
fill the rest of the glass (4.5-5 oz) with Champagne
Kir Royale (saa except uses Creme de Cassis)
When I was younger, I liked something called an "Absolute Confusion"
shot of vodka (absolute)
few ozs of "sweet n sour"
shot of 7-up
dash of grenadine
Also, favorites for folks that like sweet drinks (kind of like the LIT above)
Peach Tea
vodka
rum
peach schnapps
OJ
grenadine
7-up
Raspberry Tea
vodka
rum
raspberry liquor
sweet n sour
7-up
I don't do them often, but a good top shelf Margarita
tequila (good)
Grand Marnier
sweet and sour mix or lime juice and a little sugar, your choice
ice
The missus tried one of these when we were in Roslyn, WA recently
Creamsicle
Vanilla Vodka
OJ
crushed ice (or blended)
topped with nutmeg (that was a surprisingly good addition)
