Also I’m going to use the 915 out of the 911, so I could use the stock clutch and flywheel too. The delivery isn’t too bad, I just wonder how long it would last for...

The 914 weighed in at 1903lbs including driver at its last race. With roughly 280 on tap (allegedly) its no wonder it feels like a mini rocket ship. Hence the desire to shoe horn it into my ‘75.

My friend just dropped over to see what’s needed. I think he was surprised by the sound the 914 makes. You’re right, with those cherry bombs it just sounds AMAZING (for about 10 mins!)

My friend isn’t sure I should be doing it. He thinks that the 914 is too good to steal the engine from... but he’ll give me help if I decide to do it. Damn.

The 1.5” to offset the output is a good idea. Thank you.

Mb911 - we’ll spotted! It is a 915 with LSD and Wevo out the back. I’m hoping that should make the swap easier - transferring the engine from one 915 to another.

I need to work out the cooling and the fueling too. The 914 has dual fuel pumps and swirl pot with a central oil cooler setup. Think I’m going to be busy.
This is what the car currently looks like:

914s are my thing check out my signature.. I make all kinds of parts for them so know all the little 914 only things..
