We have two dachshunds that are the definition of a wiener. The will bark at the door or someone in the area, but they would run away from any danger. We keep the doors locked.
The dogs started barking like a pack of wolves of maybe a herd of elephants were outside the door when some dude shows up with a clipboard at the front door. I ignored him and off he went. I do have a 4 camera security system with a DVR with all the camera outside. My monitored system has just two different cameras, and it covers all the outside doors and windows.
Since I work from home I am here most of the time.
