That's an awesome looking 912. I would say $16K, because anyone with half a mind is going to do that car right. Even if they did it right with doing the trans, all fuel lines, clutch, and the rest of the money items it's going to run $5K-$7K and that's them doing it themselves.

I wish I found such a nice car with such nice paint when I got in because my paint blows. At this point I would rather probably have the Type IV engine just so I could be out driving my car for crying out loud. As you know a P/C set is easily $3K ++ for a 911, and a Type IV probably a 10th of that.

It looks like a great car, and I also admire you for moving on and admitting that you don't want to do it and that time is more valuable to you right now. For someone this car could be a gem.
