The 915 is a cheep transmission to find and buy. The 930 isn’t. You need a short bell housing version so it’ll fit the sc or mid year body. I found one. They’re not cheep. And once You get it installed, you lose the quick reflexes of the short ratios. My 930 is OK first second and third gear but fourth gear is rather lethargic unless you have a lot of power. And finally now I have a lot of power. But before that it was hard to get up to top speed once I got past about 130 and had to change gears. I could go 0-155 everyday I visited Mexico with the 915. Not so with the 930. I can do 0-130 easily but it’s a little tougher to do 155 now. Of course I can cruise at 90 with 3000rpm. And ya I could do 180+ if I wanted.
