Wondering why you wouldn't swap a 930 4spd. I would think the sale of the 915 would offset most of the cost and the durability would certainly be worth it.

both my 915's have lived behind 300hp+ 3.6's for ten years of track work.
the key is boost by gear, not launching hard in first, etc, and of course beefing up the 915- plenty of parts available.
you won't need much boost anyway- 7-9 psi will give a near N/A power curve with a modern turbo, just gives it more oomph everywhere.
