I have a friend since childhood. Retired "bus driver" from American Airlines. Now living in Sarasota. During winter, he loves to call me, asking how the Oregon weather is, telling me he's enjoying a gin & tonic by the pool, etc.
Would it be too nasty to call him and ask about his weather?
