As I mentioned in the other threads this project showed up in, I don't hate it, I don't think he ruined it. If memory serves, this thing started off in the worst possible condition...might even have had a tree growing through it. I'm by no means a "factory-nut-bolt-purist", but I do prefer the subtle style of the Emory and Willhiot "outlaw" 356 cars (as mentioned in the other 356 thread going around). I could have done without the oval window, and the rimz aren't my cuppa. And the bumpers just don't look quite right, to my eyes, especially the front.
Interesting to hear how Chip's work "held up" (or didn't) at that auction...
