G.I.'s introduced the game of pool to the area...Since then? Well, check out the rankings of the top 100 pool players in the world. You'll find a disproportionate number of Pinoy (not a racial slur...ask 'em) players. Possibly the greatest rotation pool player of all time is Efren Reyes..."The magician". Plenty of videos of his play can be seen on youtube.
Subic bay? LOL...that's not the name given to it by a Vietnam era Chief I knew..he with memories of LBFM's...
