To each his own but if you do bit of reading you might find that this approach is counter to the consensus out there re: best practices for winter storage. Starting it up for its own sake and not actually driving it is detrimental in that it creates moisture and condensation in the engine oil, not to mention wear and tear on the moving parts. If you're not driving it, it's best to leave it and not start it up.

Again, to each his own, and you can do what you think is best for your car and mental state, but I personally do not start my summer cars when they're parked for the winter.
