I bought a new highlander a few months ago, and it's taken me almost that long to figure out how to disable all the nanny crap on it.
the first to go was the annoying lane departure thing.

The longer you have to deal with that stuff the less you'll like it.

I still use the radar controlled cruise control but I've adjusted down the gap quite a bit to keep tools from cutting in constantly.
