It really depends on how you plan to use it. I have $3k in camera gear and I prefer to keep it in a camera backpack for both international travel and ease of use out in the field. Mine is a Lowepro that I have owned for 20 years but there are many others. https://www.lowepro.com/us-en/

I also have several cases for astronomy gear including Pelican and OEM. Pelican is the most robust and also the most $$. To me it shouts "high value theft target" so I rarely travel with it, but a very nice case. The backpack just suits my shooting style better and leaves both hands free. I prefer to travel light so the less gear I need to hand carry, the better.
