I saw something similar when I was sitting in the last seat of a chartered DC-8 stretched model somewhere over the Atlantic in 1970. It was all a one class cabin with no bulkheads so you could see all the way to the cockpit door. We hit some rough weather and the fuselage was flexing all over the place.
