LOL that reminds me of an amusing anecdote that I'll share iffn you don't mind:
When I was a teenager my family was over at some friend's house having a bbq or some other event.
Wayne, the father of the family we were visiting was definitely not what you would call mechanically inclined and my dad was. So Wayne asked my dad if he's take a look at one of his cars to see why it wouldn't start.
Wayne tried cranking it over but it just clicked.
Dad said "open the door so I can see the interior light".
Obviously dad was going through a process of elimination, trying to determine if the battery was dead (light would go out) or if the starter was just dead.
the light went out when he tried to start it, turned out to be a corroded battery cable, easy fix.
Fast forward to the good part:
about a year later, we were at a high school football game and someone in the parking lot had left the lights on and their battery was dead.
Wayne decided he was going to be handy and helpful so he walked up to the guy and said "open the door and look at the light, that helps".
