Had a friend that loved head cheese and all kinds of organ meats. He had horrible gout that those meats aggravated. Use the term "had" because he no longer with us.

He had one of the saddest and funniest funerals I've ever been to. Being Irish they had a single bagpipe player play greensleeves starting at the casket and walking slow out of the church and out into the distance until you couldn't hear the bagpipe any more. There wasn't a dry eye. Then after the service they had a wake style reception where they encouraged drinking and everyone took turns telling amusing anecdotes about him or that included him, hilarious.
