Good news is you have it on the right venue.
However i wouldn't pay more than low twenties for the car. No rebuild, no mention of whats been done in terms of regular maintenance, and bad body work. You might get a sucker on BAT who is willing to overpay. But the G body market is flatlining, with lots of speculators dumping bad cars and owners who didn't do their homework who still think its 2014.
The 12k quote for a re build is meaningless without the specs / quote sheet. Like the OP said $29k is right and IMO where it will land. Best you should hope for is to grab a newbie whos willing to go through the spanking machine on a first Porsche. If it hits anywhere above 25k take the money and run.
