I remember a cartoon in the national lampoon from about a hundred years ago.
it showed a guy sitting in his favorite chair in front of the TV.
The guy squashes the beer in his hand while screaming at the TV, "

Says you stupid A-hole"!
"fricken Fred Flintstone ..."

Cept it used more colorful language.
Back then I thought that was hilarious because it was so outrageous.
Nowadays I can relate.
