Speed rating is why I buy high performance all season tires for both the GTS and Turbo.
In today's political climate you never know when it might be beneficial to "Run Away."
Also why no stickers claiming any sort of affiliation or comments. Might get it keyed or even an unexploding bomb.

When I had the X3 it had the sports package. Part of that package was the speed limiter of 120 was removed. It came with special tires. You were to run one pressure for under 100mph and 4psi higher for over 100mph. There was only ONE tire to fit it. Funny thing the cheapest place to get them was the BMW dealer and they were pretty cheap at $150/tire. They did only last around 13K miles though. There was even a sticker on the window warning tires would NOT last over 20K.

When I put the 22in rims on the CayenneS there was basically only one tire that fit with the proper load rating. Moved those rims to the turbo and got new tires this summer. There are now 10 different tires for 22in rims with the correct diameters to plus size the stock rims and have the proper speed and load rating.
