Chef's, how do you dispose of old fry oil
Fried taco shells the other night, now I have a bowl of old oil I don't know what to do with (happens every time I deep fry anything). I have been told poring down the drain can clog the pipes. Dumping it the garbage will make a mess of he garbage can. I suppose I could dig a hole in the yard and dump it there.
Unfortunately I don't have a diesel that will burn vegetable oil.
You guys who fry a whole turkey, what do you do with the bucket of oil you are left with after Thanksgiving?
