Exactly.
We replaced the wood framed windows in our mostly brick home with upper tier vinyl windows (double pane, etc.) eight years ago. Best thing we ever did. The farmhouse is close to the water and the wind blows constantly. Energy savings alone made us giggle.
They will take care of everything, lust to dust...install of nearly 35 windows took them a day.
Ours are white, btw.
