This and another recent thread regarding a noise remind me of my belief that we usually overlook the simple and obvious. We could suspect catastrophic torsion bar failure, etc., but in reality something is probably rolling around in your trunk. Or maybe your washer reservoir hose is loose.

On the earlier thread, I almost posted a note about ring & pinion problems, etc, just as a joke. In that thread, I thought the best post was the one suspecting there is a rock in a rear tire tread.

The point is, suspect the simplest things first, not the most compex/expensive. You'll usually be right, and you'll save money and aggravation.
